After multiple reminder emails to the on-site team requesting updates on the service request assigned to me, there was no response or acknowledgment from them. Finally, the on-site team responded a day before my vacation and was requesting some supporting documents from my repository. I was furious about their attitude and never wanted to respond to their support request. However, I was about to leave for the day and suddenly my manager had requested me to send those documents to the team before my vacation. I had no other option but to share those details with them and I have mentioned that I am going on a long vacation and not available for the next few days. If any support required for the service request, please feel free to reach out to my manager or the delivery lead who was assisting me with this request. Within a few minutes, the delivery lead called me and was shocked to see that I have mentioned delivery lead as a secondary contact. I had no other option but to reveal the truth to the delivery lead, that my manager was requesting me to add delivery lead as the secondary contact for the service request during my absence.
